The proviso of the section states that for reasons to be recorded in writing , the special court, competent to try the case under the Act, may permit such disclosure , if in its opinion such disclosure in in the interest of the child. The provisions of POCSO Act very specifically prohibit the disclosure of the identity of the victim in Pocso cases that was violated in this cases by all most all the medias. This practice is very unfortunate.
