Meenakshi Bhagat, a 25-year-old BTech graduate from NIT Srinagar, is making her mark as the youngest candidate in the race for Bhaderwah, representing the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). Despite limited financial resources—holding just Rs 6,000 in cash, Rs 1.3 lakh in deposits, and Rs 90,000 in investments—Bhagat is determined to address local issues through innovation and technology-driven solutions.
Aligned with the core principles of the BSP, a party founded by Kanshi Ram and led by Mayawati, Bhagat is committed to promoting social equality and empowering marginalized communities.
